Reichip Booking Terms and Conditions and Useful Tips

The Lodge is managed remotely by a syndicate of sporting people so, to a large extent, we have to rely on guests looking after themselves. Please liaise with your sponsoring syndicate member for keys to the Lodge and as the first point of contact if you have any problems. There is a full list of all syndicate members’ contact numbers by the telephone at the Lodge along with our Landlords, who may be able to help in an emergency.

All guests must provide their own third party liability insurance or take full responsibility for any third party liability in the event of any incident which I happens while staying at Riechip Lodge, in the vicinity of Riechip Lodge and on the adjacent moor. By booking with us you indemnify the Riechip Syndicate and the Tenants of Riechip Lodge and its Associated Shootings of all liabilities which may be caused by anyone in your party staying at the Lodge.

Please look on our website – www.riechip.com – for advice on the Lodge, the surrounding area and local activities. There are notices posted in the Lodge kitchen to help you in the smooth running of the Lodge during your stay both for your benefit and those that follow you.

Please note:

• You will need to bring your own towels, all other linen is provided.
• If you are using the Lodge during winter months you will need to fill the water system. Specific instructions are posted in the kitchen, it takes about 20 minutes.
• On arrival, if you notice any damage or breakage please list and contact your sponsoring syndicate member so we can contact the previous tenant for rectification.
• You are the nominated "tenant" for the period of your booking and as such will be the responsible person for any damage or breakage during your stay and for making sure the Lodge is left as per the “departure instructions” posted on the kitchen notice board.
• If you have any damage or breakages during your stay please try and fix or replace them. If unable to do so please list them and inform your sponsor for later rectification.
• Please report any shortages of wood/coal directly to Don Harrison on 01403 864705.
• NO dogs are allowed upstairs at all or in the living room unless they have been properly dried off. Dogs should not be allowed on the furniture at any time or left in a room so they scratch/damage furniture or doors.
• Only gun dogs are allowed at the Lodge as a stipulation of our lease.
• Any dog mess around the houses MUST be cleared away on a daily basis.
• Please take rubbish down to the green "wheelie" bins, at the bottom of the drive near the public road, on a regular basis to save attracting rats. All rubbish should be removed to the bins for the collection on Wednesday mornings AND at the end of your booking.
• Please return all furnishings to their original position should they have been moved during your stay so subsequent parties will find things where expected.
• Please follow carefully the "departure instructions" posted in the kitchen especially when having to drain down the water during the winter months – this is only a ten-minute job.
